The villages of Ruan Minor and Cadgwith (which seem to merge into one) offer walking, swimming, fishing, and just relaxing. Local amenities include a general store, post office and cafe, two churches, the Old Cellars restaurant, and the Cadgwith Cove Inn. There is also a local bus service. The house, with its small sunny garden and comfortable accommodation, means you can have a very relaxing holiday in an excellent location. This refurbished cottage retains many original features including beamed ceilings and wooden flooring.

Spacious BATHROOM: with bath, shower cubicle and WC. PATIO AREA: at front of property with seating and small rear GARDEN: with garden furniture. HEATING: electric heaters and open fire. PARKING: can usually be found just outside the property. SPECIAL NOTES: there is a right of way at the rear of the property to the house next door. Travel cot available on request. We had a fantastic time at Whelk Cottage. It was beautifully clean and we felt at home immediately. It was a pleasure to cook food in the beautiful kitchen and, in fact, we only ate out once. We thought the location was wonderful, with just a short walk to Cadgwith Cove (we perhaps spent longer in the inn than we were planning to due to the fantastic singing!) Thank you for sending us the information on Lizard Adventure - we went kayaking with them and had a wonderful time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Whelk Cottage as a truly wonderful holiday cottage. We had previously had a bad experience with another company many years ago when hiring a cottage for a few days and were rather nervous about a holiday let again, but this has restored our faith.
